Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is an emerging technology that allows voice as data to travel across the Internet. This allows you to make call either from your computer of from a special VoIP phone or from a traditional telephone connected to a special adapter (ATA). With Habari VoIP we allow you to use the Internet to call cellular and land lines around the world.

You can also make free calls from VoIP to VoIP client.

How Do I get VoIP?

If you have Habari connection, Habari technicians can install VoIP software on your computer free of charge or you opt to purchase a VoIP handset.

Rates are as low as 24 Tsh / $0.02 per minute.

Handsets are available at Habari starting at $80.

Habari News Letter

We have long felt that our shared bandwidth rules tended to favour users who saturate their link (use it as much as our levels will allow) and not those who use it sporadically or lightly.

So as Habari is always looking for ways to improve the network and your Internet experience. We have recently at Habari has added an option for the shared bandwidth levels SCS, Lan A and Lan B that improves the speed for some members, by allowing lower volume users to use extra bandwidth.

We are calling this service "Habari Plus"
